At Mama Africa, we’re working to make agriculture a sustainable source of income for farmers across Africa.
Over 60% of Africa's population relies on agriculture for their livelihood. Many aren’t paid a living wage and are stuck in poverty. We’re out to change that.
Around 1.3 billion people in Africa depend on agriculture for their livelihoods. Despite this, many farmers struggle with poverty due to low incomes and limited resources. Our initiatives aim to change this. In countries like Kenya, our programs provide training, resources, and support to farmers, helping them improve crop quality and yield. By supporting these efforts, you’re not only aiding farmers in earning a sustainable income but also contributing to the availability of high-quality, ethically produced agricultural products.

Planting trees that grow opportunity. For every product sold, we plant a tree. The cacao, coffee, and other fruit that these trees produce provide farmers with a sustainable source of income in Africa. As trees are harvested, we’ll buy the coffee and cacao. Other fruits can be sold at local markets as an alternative source of income for farmers.
A sustainable and scaleable model for livelihood.
As cacao and coffee are grown on our farm in Africa, saplings are brought to neighboring villages free of charge. This allows those villages to start their own farms, creating a source of reliable income for farmers.
Investing in community-led projects.
A large part of our profits are reinvested into the local infrustructure of communities in Africa. This helps to provide better access to basic needs such as clean water, food, and shelter. This saves time for community members, allowing them to focus on things beyond survival such as education and community development.
